…and of course Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Filled with slapstick comedy and elaborate traps, this childhood classic made us all wish we got left behind at Christmas.

There have been many versions of this Dicken’s classic over the years but this is one of the funniest adaptations and is a great one to watch with the family.

The Polar Express

Featuring stunning animation, a beautiful soundtrack and Tom Hanks, this one is a modern classic and will turn everyone into a believer. Perfect to watch on Christmas Eve and get you in the Christmas spirit.

The Santa Clause

Take yourself back to the 1990s with this family favourite where Tim Allen plays the Dad who ends up becoming the new Santa Clause. Anyone else wish their Dad became Santa as a kid?

The Nightmare Before Christmas

When Jack Skellington discovers “Christmas Town” he is determined to spread Christmas joy, but his antics put Santa and Christmas in jeopardy. This is a great one to start with after Halloween, especially if you love musicals.

Jingle All The Way

Schwarzenegger’s desperate quest to get a Turbo-Man for his son is now legendary as he attempts to out-wit Santa, the poor mailman and all the other parents. It turns out toys aren’t the real reason for Christmas after all. We still expect a full stocking though!

Rom-coms set at Christmas are instantly more romantic; snow, Christmas decorations and wine seems to make everything better. The romances are predicable however Iris and Arthur’s friendship will melt any heart.

Love Actually

Featuring a star-studded cast, this take on the British Christmas will take you through all the emotions. If you like British humor, then this a must-watch.

Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Jim Carrey’s take of one Dr Seuss’ most grim of characters created one of the sweetest Christmas films. Prepare yourself for some nightmarish scenes, crazy costumes and a lot of rhyming.
